Rickie Fowler U.S. Open Prediction 2023

Rickie Fowler has had his fair share of highs and lows at the U.S. Open. He's shown promise at times, highlighted by T2 and T5 performances in 2014 and 2017, respectively. Much to his dismay, he hasn't come close to matching those showings since then, finishing T20, T43, and T49 in his last three entries.

More 2023 U.S. Open coverage on The Duel:

The good news is that Fowler has been playing well on the 2023 PGA TOUR. Although he's still searching for his first win of the season, he's placed T20 or better in nine of his last 11 outings, which also includes four top-10 finishes. He most recently placed T9 at the Memorial Tournament two weeks ago.

While recent U.S. Open history isn't on his side, I'm taking a Rickie Fowler top-20 finish at +170. He's been extremely consistent when it comes to top-20 finishes this season and the fact that he's finished T15 or better in six of his last seven events is impressive. He has what it takes to continue that trend in Los Angeles this week.
