The Suns finally got their first win of the series, notching a 121-114 victory in Game 3. The Nuggets couldn't do anything to slow down Devin Booker, who finished with a game-high 47 points on 20-of-25 shooting (80.0%). Not to be outdone, Kevin Durant also had a huge night, finishing with 39 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.

  • The total has hit the over in six of Phoenix's last nine games against Denver.

Nuggets vs Suns Prediction & Pick

Momentum is fully on the Suns' side heading into Game 4. They have a terrific opportunity to tie up the series seeing as how the Nuggets aren't great away from Ball Arena, going 20-24 SU on the road with a minus-3.0 averaging scoring margin (11th-worst). For comparison, Phoenix is 31-14 SU with a plus-4.9 margin (eighth-best) this season.

It's also clear that the Nuggets have no answer for Booker and Durant, who are averaging 36.3 and 30.7 points, respectively, in this series. I don't expect that to change considering how Denver tends to play poorer in Phoenix, losing in six of its last seven trips to Ball Arena while getting outscored by an average of 11 points over that span.

With a 71.9% winning percentage as the betting favorite this year, I feel good about the Suns capitalizing on their newfound momentum. Back Phoenix to even this series, turning it into a best-of-three situation.

Final Score Prediction: Suns: 120 | Nuggets: 115

Nuggets vs Suns Best Bet

For Game 4's best bet, I'm going with the Over on the 227-point total — a number that's been surpassed twice through three games. The Suns have experienced more points than projected in eight of their last 11 games, as well as in all but one of their latest six home contests. On the other side, the Over is 5-2 in the Nuggets' last seven games and 8-4 in their previous 12 matchups in May.

With the offensive talent on both sides, finishing with more than 227 points isn't that big of an ask.

Bet: Over 227 Total Points (-110)
