Bowl game season is an exciting time in college football. Schools across the nation will battle it out for postseason glory and a chance to end their year on a high note.

One team that's no stranger to playing in bowl games is the Missouri Tigers. Here's everything you need to know about Missouri's bowl history before making its next appearance.

Missouri Bowl Game History

College football fans should not be shocked to learn Missouri has been quite busy in past bowl seasons. The Tigers have played in a whopping 35 bowl games all-time.

Missouri made its first bowl appearance in 1924 at the Los Angeles Christmas Festival under head coach Gwinn Henry. The Tigers were defeated by the USC Trojans by a score of 20-7. They actually went on to lose their first seven bowl games before earning the program's first ever win in 1960.

The Tigers' most recent bowl appearance was in the 2022 Gasparilla Bowl against Wake Forest. Mizzou dropped that contest 27-17 to the Demon Deacons, marking their fourth straight postseason loss.
