List of Referees Working the 2022 NBA Finals


The 2022 NBA Finals are finally here, pitting the Golden State Warriors against the Boston Celtics for the title. Both teams have legitimate reasons they could win the Larry O'Brien trophy, so fans are hoping to see a fair series called by the referees.

NBA Finals Referees 2022

While the playoffs featured a large list of the top refs working games, that group will be cut down to a select few for the Finals. This allows the NBA to get its best and most accurate officials involved to ensure the games are called correctly.

There were 36 refs available to start the playoffs, but that list has been paired down to 12 game officials and six alternates for the NBA Finals.

NBA Finals Ref Assignments

Three referees will be assigned to each game during the Finals, plus one alternate, and one official will oversee the Replay Center.
