After nearly four years, Kron Gracie is set to return to the octagon. The member of the legendary Gracie family was last seen at UFC Fight Night 161 when he picked up a unanimous decision loss to Cub Swanson. Before suffering that defeat, the 34-year-old BJJ savant had won his first five MMA fights.

Standing in Gracie's path is former TKO Featherweight Champion Charles Jourdain. The Canadian striker is coming off back-to-back losses to Shane Burgos and Nathaniel Wood, losing by majority and unanimous decision, respectively. Needless to say, he desperately needs a win.

Although the odds favor Jourdain, I can see the underdog winning. Gracie's first MMA loss came due to his abandoning his grappling style in favor of strikes. After his family admitted that was a mistake, I don't see him messing up twice. After all, Jourdain isn't the best grappler, having been taken down at least once in each of his last six fights, including seven times in the last two.

While rust could be a factor, Gracie will be determined to make his return with a bang. Back his grappling to give him the edge this weekend.
