The 2023 IndyCar season continues with the Indy 500 on Sunday. Racing fans are amped up ahead of this iconic annual event.

Here's everything you need to know about this year's IndyCar race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Indy 500 Time and Channel

The Indy 500 is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET on May 28 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana. This event will air on NBC and Peacock. Fans can also listen to the race via SiriusXM IndyCar Radio.

The Indy 500 is set to feature 200 laps on a 2.5-mile course. The race checks in at a total length of 500 miles.

Indy 500 Qualifying Results and Starting Lineup

Qualifying was held this past weekend to determine the starting order for the Indy 500. Alex Palou took home the pole position with a qualifying speed of 234.217 mph — a new Indy 500 record.
