She won the Grade 1 First Lady cutting blistering fractions on this turf course on her way to an easy victory. Form cycle suggests she has more room for advancement in this her second race off the layoff. She’ll control the pace and pressure will be manageable so she’ll be comfortable on the lead.

Above the Curve (9/2) is a 3-year-old filly and closer who earns a perfect HRN Super Screener score off a brilliant up-close third place finish in the key prep for this race, the Group 1 Prix de l’Opera. A slow pace was a disadvantage, but she moved strong to the wire running past the pace-advantaged runner-up Nashwa (5/2) after the finish line.
