3 Best Prop Bets for Hawks vs Celtics Game 5 on April 25 (Jaylen Brown Takes Advantage of Defensive Matchup)

Tuesday's NBA Playoffs slate includes an exciting Game 5 showdown between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics. The Celtics took commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a 129-121 Game 4 victory on Sunday as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each tallied 31 points (20-of-42 combined shooting).

1. Jaylen Brown - Points: Over 26.5 (-111)

The Hawks will be without guard Dejounte Murray on Tuesday as he was suspended for making contact with an official. Murray has served as the primary defender on Jaylen Brown in this series given his 6-foot-10 wingspan allows him to contest mid-range shots and layups. Now Brown will be going up against guys like John Collins or Saddiq Bey, who will not be able to keep up with his constant movement or physical strength. Brown averages 26.7 points per home game this season and has tallied at least 27 points in 12 of his last 22 games inside TD Garden. Keep in mind he also shot 11-of-15 from the floor after ditching his facial mask in Game 4.

2. Trae Young - Made Threes: Under 2.5 (-122)

Trae Young is coming off a game in which he shot 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. However, that was the first time he made more than 2 three-pointers in a game since March 26. That is why he is worth fading in a matchup against a Boston squad that ranks third in opponent three-point percentage (34.5%). With Murray out, Young will be tasked with taking on an even bigger facilitator role than usual as he looks to find his open teammates. Young has posted less than 3 three-pointers in 11 of his last 16 games and no signs point to that trend changing on Tuesday night.

3. Derrick White - Rebounds: Over 4.5 (+114)

There's something Derrick White likes about playing at home. Not only does he score more points in front of a supportive crowd, but he also crashes the board at a much higher rate. The veteran guard tallied at least 5 rebounds in both Game 1 & Game 2, while seeing an average of 36.0 minutes of action. He has now posted at least 5 rebounds in six of his last 10 home games overall and is still facing a Hawks team that ranks 21st in terms of defensive rebounds allowed per game (33.7). The Celtics will want to end this series on their home court, so look for White to do everything he can to help.
