Those hoping Booker would be back after his initial four-week timeline will be disappointed. Phoenix announced on Wednesday that the 26-year-old will be out at least another week before he's re-evaluated again.

It's not all bad news, though. Booker is progressing and the fact that he's only week-to-week now is a good sign he's approaching 100%. He's not there yet, but it's clear his health is improving since going down on Christmas.

The Suns have certainly felt Booker's absence whenever he's sat this season, posting a dismal 7-13 record when he's inactive. It's worth noting some of those absences have overlapped with backcourt mate Chris Paul, who only just returned to the lineup recently. Regardless, health has been an obvious obstacle for them so far.

All eyes will be on Booker as he works his way back to the floor. He's been exceptional when healthy in 2022-23, averaging 27.1 points, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game.
