Verizon 200 Qualifying Results, Grid and Starting Lineup at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Updated:

The NASCAR Cup Series is back at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for the Verizon 200 on Sunday. Of course, before the race starts all attention will be on Saturday's qualifying run and results.

Qualifying at Indianapolis Motor Speedyway will use a one-lap format. Following a 15-minute warmup/practice session, drivers will compete in two groups, running a single-lap qualifier. The five fastest drivers in each group will advance to the final qualifying round, and those 10 drivers will each run one more lap to determine the first five rows in the starting lineup. And naturally, the pole position will go to the fastest driver in that final qualifying round.
