A trip to the NCAA Super Regionals is on the line when Texas A&M and Stanford meet head-to-head in the Stanford Regional Final on Monday night. These two teams faced off on Sunday in a 13-5 win for the Cardinal as third baseman Tommy Troy finished 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Stanford enters this contest as a favorite on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 9 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 16.5 runs with both sides available at -114 odds.

Texas A&M vs Stanford Betting Trends

  • Texas A&M is 8-3 straight up in its last 11 games.
  • Stanford is 14-4 straight up in its last 18 games.
  • Texas A&M is 2-1 straight up across three NCAA regional games.
  • Stanford is 3-1 straight up across four NCAA regional games.
  • Stanford defeated Texas A&M by a score of 13-5 on Sunday, June 4.

Texas A&M vs Stanford Prediction & Pick

This is the third time these two teams are facing off during the Stanford regional as the Aggies' 13-5 loss on Sunday was preceded by an 8-5 win on Saturday. It's hard to go against the team playing on its home field, but I'm going to back Texas A&M in an upset due to the pitching advantage it possesses.

Playing three games compared to four means the Aggies are a bit more rested when it comes to their bullpen. That's not the only edge, though, as Nathan Dettmer is expected to start for Texas A&M. Dettmer has three years of experience under his belt to go along with a solid 0.7 HR/9 rate, so he should be able to keep the ball in the yard.

A couple of regional hosts have gone down in the final as of late and I expect Stanford to be the next.

Final Score Prediction: Texas A&M: 8 | Stanford: 7

Texas A&M vs Stanford Best Bet

I'll play it safe and back Texas A&M to cover the +1.5 run line instead of backing them to win the game outright. This avenue provides a bit of leeway if the score remains close until the final few innings. Keep in mind that the Aggies have only suffered two multi-run losses in their last 11 games overall and have proven they can keep up with Stanford's powerful offense. This game could truly go either way.

Bet: Texas A&M Aggies +1.5 (-154)
