The No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers are set to take on the No. 10 Texas Longhorns in a massive SEC/Big 12 Challenge clash scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28.

Tennessee has a ton of momentum on its side, winning for the eighth time in its last nine outings with a 70-41 blowout win over Georgia. Texas has also been solid as of late, improving to 5-1 in its last six games with Tuesday's 89-75 victory against Oklahoma State, highlighted by Marcus Carr's game-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

So, which of these top-10 programs will continue their winning ways tonight?

Tennessee vs Texas Odds & Spread

Tennessee enters this contest as the clear road favorite on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 6 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 132.5 points with both sides set at -110.

Tennessee vs Texas Prediction & Pick

Texas is in for a tough test this evening. Tennessee has thrived at Thompson-Boling Arena, winning nine of its first 10 home games. The Volunteers rank first when it comes to points (49.1 PPG), field-goal percentage (30.6%), and three-point percentage (19.7%) at home this season.

Meanwhile, Texas scores significantly fewer points on the road (69.3 PPG) than it does at home (86.5 PPG). The Longhorns are also only hitting 43.5% of field-goal attempts on the road. Continuing to miss those shots won't bode well against the Volunteers, who average 39.5 rebounds (No. 12) compared to Texas' 35.7 (T-No. 118).

Texax being 0-5 ATS against its last five SEC opponents also makes it difficult to trust. With Tennessee covering the spread against five of its last six Big 12 foes, I expect the Volunteers to add to their win total.

Final Score Prediction: Tennessee: 74 | Texas: 68

Tennessee vs Texas Best Bet

A 132.5-point total is a bit too conservative for my liking. Even with how good Tennessee's defense is, it's tough to ignore that the two sides average a combined 154.6 PPG. That's not even to mention that the over is 9-3 in Texas' last 12 outings, as well as 4-3 in Tennessee's last seven.

The over has also been hit in four of the last five Volunteers-Longhorns collisions, surpassing 132.5 points in all but one of those contests.

A battle between top-10 schools should be competitive, opening the door to more points being scored than expected.

Bet: Over 132.5 Points (-110)
