Not only is Southern Miss a dominant home team, but Tennessee is not a great team outside of Knoxville. The Volunteers are just 5-12 on the road this season and benefitted from Clemson simply running out of steam in a 14-inning thriller during the regionals. That won't happen again this time.

Southern Miss has scored first in nine of their last 14 victories overall and has the offensive depth needed to gain an early lead in order to keep the Volunteers on their toes.
