Super Bowl Odds, Predictions and Best Bet Heading into Wild Card Weekend (Bills' Championship Goal Won't Be Denied)

Updated:

The 2022 NFL regular season is in the rearview mirror as Super Wild Card Weekend will kick off in just a few days. The postseason's opening round is the first step to crowning the Super Bowl LVII Champions in Glendale, Arizona, meaning fans and bettors are gearing up for an exciting month of football action.

While the NFL playoffs can be unpredictable, FanDuel Sportsbook's latest Super Bowl odds shed some light on who'll cap off the campaign as this year's champions.

Here's a look at the latest Super Bowl LVII odds, as well as the best championship bet heading into the NFL's Wild Card Weekend.

Super Bowl Best Bet

There are a handful of teams that could win Super Bowl LVII without any questions ask and one of them happen to be my best bet: the Buffalo Bills at +420 odds.

For starters, the Bills are one of the best all-around teams in the league and match up nicely against the majority of opposing styles. Buffalo scores the second-most points (28.4 PPG) while allowing the second-fewest (17.9 PPG), leading to the best scoring margin in the NFL (plus-10.6).

It certainly helps that the Bills have an MVP-level quarterback in Josh Allen, surrounded by aerial and ground threats that he has tremendous chemistry with. After all, that's why they ranked No. 7 in both passing and rushing yards per game.

That's not even to mention Buffalo's defense holding opponents to 319.1 total yards per game (sixth-fewest) while racking up 40 sacks (T-No. 14) with 27 takeaways (T-No. 4).

Furthermore, the Bills have extra motivation to win the Super Bowl for safety Damar Hamlin. Whether or not he ends up suiting up in the postseason, Hamlin's inspiring recovery has brought out something special in the Bills — proven by running back Nyheim Hines' opening kickoff return touchdown against the New England Patriots.

That kind of inspiration can't be measured statistically while also being something that the other teams don't have and I wouldn't be surprised if that motivation is enough to take the Bills to their first title win.
