Panthers vs Golden Knights Betting Trends

  • Florida is 0-6 straight up in its last six away games against Vegas.

  • Vegas is 10-3 straight up in its last 13 home games overall.
  • The total has hit the over in four of Vegas' last five home games.

Panthers vs Golden Knights Prediction & Pick

The Panthers did what they had been doing throughout the postseason on Saturday, which was score first. Florida was up 1-0 less than 10 minutes into the game and forced Vegas to play from behind. The Golden Knights were not fazed, though, earning their ninth comeback win of the playoffs.

Goaltender Adin Hill was phenomenal for Vegas as he finished the game with 33 saves and blew up a couple of clear scoring chances inside T-Mobile Arena. He has been a major key to Vegas' success given he is allowing only 2.06 goals and logging 28.8 saves per contest across 12 playoff games.

I'm not expecting much to change in Game 2. After all, the Panthers have yet to win in Vegas since the Golden Knights entered the NHL and five of those six of losses have come by a multi-goal margin. Look for head coach Bruce Cassidy's team to keep finding ways to rack up power play opportunities.

Final Score Prediction: Golden Knights: 3 | Panthers: 2

Panthers vs Golden Knights Best Bet

The Golden Knights are stacked with big-time pros such as Marchessault and William Karlsson, but don't overlook Shea Theodore. Theodore has now played against the Panthers twice this season and has scored at least 1 point in both contests. Not only that, but the 27-year-old has also logged at least 1 shot on goal in every single playoff game and excelled in his role during Game 1 with 1 goal and 1 assist, so back him to notch another point in Game 2.

Bet: Shea Theodore to Record 1+ Point (+118)
