Monday, Feb. 13's NCAA college basketball schedule features an ACC clash as the North Carolina Tar Heels host the No. 19 Miami Hurricanes at 7 p.m. ET.

North Carolina broke out of a three-game losing streak with a 91-71 victory over Clemson on Saturday, led by a game-high 23 points from Caleb Love. Meanwhile, Miami is currently on a four-game winning streak, most recently tallying a 93-85 win against Louisville.

Can North Carolina send the crowd home happy with another victory? Or will Miami extend its winning ways to five straight games?

North Carolina vs Miami Prediction & Pick

While Miami has more recent success, North Carolina is tough to beat at home. The Tar Heels are 11-1 straight up at Dean Smith Center thus far, where they score 81.2 PPG and average a plus-13.7 scoring margin. They've also won 12 of their previous 16 home games against the Hurricanes, including a 94-71 victory the last time they met in Chapel Hill.

On the flip side, Miami has lost four of its last six road games, as well. It doesn't help that the Hurricanes are also 2-3 as underdogs this season, whereas the Tar Heels are 16-3 as favorites. It should be a close-fought matchup, but it's clear that North Carolina is easier to trust in front of its home crowd.

Back the Tar Heels standing tall at home tonight.

Final Score Prediction: North Carolina: 78 | Miami: 76

North Carolina vs Miami Best Bet

Although I see North Carolina winning tonight, I'm actually going with Miami on the spread. For starters, the Tar Heels are 1-4 ATS in their last five games, as well as 2-5 ATS in their last seven ACC matchups.

The Hurricanes have been a lot easier to trust with the spread, going 5-2 ATS in their last seven outings. Furthermore, Miami has covered the spread in 16 of its last 20 road games.

Keeping in mind that UNC lost three straight games before its latest wins, I see Miami keeping things closer than expected with the potential to pull off an outright upset.

Bet: Miami +5.5 (-110)
