Magny vs Rowe Prediction

Neil Magny enters Saturday with an experience edge over Rowe considering he made his UFC debut back in 2013 and has posted a 20-9 record since that point. However, he has dropped two of his last three fights and most recently fell victim to an arm triangle submission from Gilbert Burns in January.

Phil Rowe is the one that checks in on the right side of the momentum scale. He has won four of his first five fights at the UFC level and is coming off a bout in which he took down Niko Price via a third round KO. Keep in mind neither fighter has a height or reach advantage in this welterweight clash.

I'm going to side with an upset here and back Rowe. Rowe is capable of pestering Magny with one jab after another considering he lands 4.39 significant strikes per minute. He has also proven capable of avoiding ground battles with three straight KO victories, which takes away Magny's biggest strength.

Winner: Phil Rowe

Magny vs Rowe Best Bet

Bettors looking for more bang for their buck should trust Rowe to win via KO/TKO, but I'm going to just take him to win outright. Rowe is someone that could greatly benefit from the boost that comes with taking down a veteran pro. Meanwhile, Magny is on the back end of his career and has shown as of late that his wrestling skills aren't what they used to be. He is left vulnerable without that advantage.

Bet: Phil Rowe ML (+126)
