Opening Day for the 2023 MLB season is nearly here, and baseball fans are anxious with anticipation. Everyone is ready to see these new-look clubs finally take the field after getting a glimpse of them in action during Spring Training.

As Opening Day quickly approaches, here's everything you need to know about the first games of the 2023 MLB campaign.

MLB Opening Day 2023 Schedule and How to Watch

All 30 MLB teams will officially begin their 2023 season on Thursday, March 30. The first contests of the day are set to start at 1:05 p.m. ET, while the last games have an opening pitch time of 10:10 p.m. ET.

There will be two nationally broadcasted matchups on MLB Opening Day 2023. The first pits the Philadelphia Phillies against the Texas Rangers on ESPN+ at 4:05 p.m. ET. The second features the defending champion Houston Astros at home against the Chicago White Sox, which will air at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
