Santos vs Munoz Prediction

This is a matchup between two fighters still trying to find their groove at the UFC level. On one side, Daniel Santos bounced back from a unanimous decision loss to Julio Arce in April of 2022 with a knockout victory over John Castaneda in November. Those are his only two UFC outcomes so far.

On the other side, Munoz has logged a 2-2 record in the UFC after dominating the King of the Cage landscape with a 10-0 record. He earned a win over Liudvik Sholinian in his most recent bout, though, as Munoz battered him before being judged the victor by unanimous decision in November of 2022.

Munoz has a couple of things working in his favor such as ground game and reach advantage. However, his inability to stay consistent as fights go on is going to cost him. Santos' biggest strength is his endurance, as it allows him to land noteworthy jabs when it matters most (4.82 significant strikes landed per minute).

Winner: Daniel Santos

Santos vs Munoz Best Bet

The moneyline is the only betting option at the moment, but keep an eye out for odds to be updated before Saturday. I'll back Santos by decision in that case. Munoz has the necessary upright game to handle Santos' relentless pressure, but he is going to get worn down with each round that goes by. While I think he will be able to avoid a knockout, I don't think Munoz will be able to satisfy the judges.

Bet: Daniel Santos by Decision (TBD)
