Cardinals Get Big DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update Before Week 11 Kickoff

Updated:

It looks like backup quarterback Colt McCoy will be making his second straight start for the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football in Week 11 when they take on the San Francisco 49ers. Even with starting quarterback out again this week, there was another star the team was waiting to get confirmation on whether he'd be able to play or not.

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Report

Star wideout DeAndre Hopkins, after spending all week with the questionable tag, will indeed be suiting up and playing in Week 11. Hopkins was dealing with a hamstring injury all week, but it appears the extra day gave him enough time to get it in good enough shape to go.

Missing Hopkins would have been a huge blow to this Cardinals offense, which is already playing at a disadvantage without Murray. Hopkins has been fantastic since returning from suspension, garnering two touchdowns and just under 400 yards in four games this season.

The Cardinals are currently 9.5-point home underdogs against the 49ers in Week 11, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
