The 2022 edition of the Boca Raton Bowl will be played at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, FL. FAU Stadium serves as the home of the Florida Atlantic Owls college football team. The stadium opened in 2011, seats 30,000 and is hosting for the ninth time.

The Boca Raton Bowl is scheduled during college football's bowl season. The game will be played on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET and airs live on ESPN.

All signs point to Liberty's bowl success coming to an end in a few weeks. The Flames are just too tough to trust during their losing streak, especially after losing by 35 points to the Aggies. Liberty even tried using three different quarterbacks against New Mexico State, only for the trio to combine for just 207 yards with one touchdown and an interception on 25-of-39 passing.

Even with QB Dequan Finn being banged up, Toledo still managed to win the MAC Championship last week. The Rockets' ground game was the deciding factor (236 yards and one TD on 46 carries) and now gets to face a Liberty team that's allowed at least 176 rushing yards in each of its last three games.

Look for Toledo to get a decent-sized lead early on before using the run game to drain the clock.
