Best Same-Game Parlay for Nuggets vs Heat NBA Finals Game 3 (Jimmy Butler Keeps Wheeling and Dealing)

Updated:

The 2022-23 NBA Playoffs continue on Wednesday night with Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. There are a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like -- It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Nuggets-Heat matchup.

Leg 1: Jimmy Butler to Record Over 6.5 Assists (-138)

Jimmy Butler isn't primarily known as a playmaker, but he's had no issue setting up his teammates as of late. He's averaging 6.8 assists over his last 12 games and has finished with at least 7 helpers in both Games 1 and 2. Butler has now hit the Over on this prop in each of his last seven encounters with the Nuggets, averaging 8.1 APG over that stretch. With the Miami crowd cheering him on in Game 3, Butler will do everything he can to put on a show. He's been one of the best players of the postseason and there's no reason to begin doubting him now.

Leg 2: Nikola Jokic to Record 30+ Points (-105)

Like Butler, Nikola Jokic has dazzled throughout the 2022-23 NBA postseason. Game 2 was a perfect example of his dominance as he scored 41 points while shooting 57.1% from the floor and 40.0% from the three-point line. No matter what the Heat throw at him, they simply can't guard Jokic as he's averaged 34.0 PPG through two games. On top of that, the 28-year-old center has finished with 30+ points in seven of his last 11 games. With the Nuggets having the chance to go up 2-1 in enemy territory, Jokic will rise to the occasion again.

Leg 3: Kevin Love to Record Over 5.5 Rebounds (-104)

After Kevin Love racked up 10 rebounds over 22 minutes in Game 2, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra admitted it was a mistake not starting him in Game 1. In other words, expect to see Love on the court for a similar amount of time in Game 3. Between the regular season and playoffs, Love has played 20+ minutes on 40 occasions. In those games, he's finished with at least 6 rebounds 32 times. His best days might be in the rearview, but he's still a rebounding threat and will be used often if Miami hopes to slow down Jokic at all. Expect another solid showing on the glass from the veteran big man.
