Best Same-Game Parlay for Heat vs Celtics NBA Playoffs Game 7 (Jimmy Butler's Shooting Woes Continue)

Updated:

The 2022-23 NBA Playoffs continue on Monday night Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics at 8:30 p.m. ET. There are a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like. It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Heat-Celtics matchup.

Leg 1: Jimmy Butler to Under 27.5 Points (+100)

While Jimmy Butler has found some success in this series, the Celtics have done a good job of slowing him down. Boston has held Butler to a 24.2 PPG clip, only allowing him to shoot 41.7% from the field and 31.3% from three-point range. When it comes to this prop, the 33-year-old has finished with fewer than 27.5 points in four of his last five games and six of his previous nine. Furthermore, Butler is averaging just 21.2 points in his last 13 trips to TD Garden, finishing with the Under in all but two of those contests. With how sound the Celtics' defense can be, I expect another quieter night from Butler.

Leg 2: Derrick White to Record 3+ Threes Made (-110)

Derrick White's three-point shooting has been a consistent presence for the Celtics through six games. The former 2017 first-rounder is averaging 3.5 threes on 55.3% shooting, finishing with at least a trio of three-pointers in each game of this series. No matter what they do, the Heat just can't find a way to slow White down on the outside and I don't expect that changing tonight. Miami already allows the 12th-most three-pointers to shooting guards, so there just isn't a reason to believe that he'll slow down any time soon.

Leg 3: Jayson Tatum to Record 6+ Assists (-140)

While Jayson Tatum is known for his scoring ability, he's also a solid playmaker for a forward. He's averaging 5.6 assists over his last 10 outings, finishing at least six assists in five of those outings and two of his past three. Game 7 being played in Boston should also help his cause seeing as how Tatum has racked up eight-plus assists in his last two outings at TD Garden. At the end of the day, the Celtics have a plethora of offensive talent, meaning it's relatively easy for Tatum to rack up assists once he gets the ball in his teammates' hands. With this being a must-win contest, I expect Tatum to bring his best playmaking to the table.
