Best Same-Game Parlay for Golden Knights vs Panthers NHL Stanley Cup Final Game 3 (Vegas' Stars Step Up in Florida)

Updated:

The 2022-23 NHL Playoffs continue on Thursday night with Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers at 8 p.m. ET. There are a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like. It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Golden Knights-Panthers matchup.

Leg 1: Golden Knights to Record Over 2.5 Goals (-150)

The Golden Knights haven't taken their foot off the gas since this series began, racking up 12 goals through Games 1 and 2. Considering how a dozen goals are the most through two games in Stanley Cup Final history, there's little reason to doubt that things won't be the same in Game 3. For starters, Vegas has scored more than 2.5 goals 14 times in 19 playoff games thus far, including in each of the last three. With Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky playing to a 5.52 goals-against average and .826 save percentage in the last two games, I highly doubt that the Golden Knights finish with two or fewer markers tonight.

Leg 2: Mark Stone to Record 3+ Shots on Goal (+104)

Whenever the Golden Knights need to generate offensive opportunities, Mark Stone steps up. The Vegas captain leads the Stanley Cup Final with 10 shots on goal so far, making good on this prop in both Games 1 and 2. Stone has now recorded at least a trio of shots in each of his previous four games, averaging four per contest. The series shifting to Florida won't diminish the veteran leader's chances to create offense either. In his previous six trips to FLA Live Arena, Stone finished with three-plus shots in all but one outing.

Leg 3: Matthew Tkachuk — Any Time Goal Scorer (+135)

While the Panthers didn't come close to winning Game 2, Matthew Tkachuk did everything he could to motivate his team, scoring his 10th goal of the postseason. The former NHL All-Star has now scored in four of his past six games and must do the same if he wants to give Florida some life. Fortunately, a return to FLA Live Arena should boost him after scoring five goals in his previous six home games. Always one to lead by example, don't be shocked if Tkachuk lights the lamp once more.
