3 Best Prop Bets for Heat vs Raptors on March 28 (Fred VanVleet's Passing Abilities Take Center Stage)

The Toronto Raptors will aim to earn their sixth win in their last eight games when they host the Miami Heat at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT inside Scotiabank Arena. Jimmy Butler and Pascal Siakam headline two dependable lineups that are hungry to keep pace in a tight Eastern Conference playoff race.

1. Fred VanVleet - Assists: Over 7.5 (+108)

It's worth pointing out that the Raptors and Heat have already met three times this season. Fred VanVleet finished those games with 8, 9 and 10 assists as he constantly found his open teammates both by the rim and along the perimeter. The All-Star guard enters Tuesday having posted at least 7 assists in eight of his last 10 games and at least 8 assists in five games during that period. Miami's defense is no joke, but it is a defense that has allowed 28.3 assists over its last three games (No. 20 in NBA). Back VanVleet to take command on the offensive end with playoff hopes on the line.

2. Tyler Herro - 4+ Made Threes (+185)

Tyler Herro's three-point line is listed at 3.5, but the -150 odds on the over make it a much less enticing option given the wager needed for a worthwhile payout. Herro has a shot to pick apart a Toronto defense that has struggled to defend the perimeter, so backing him to sink at least 4 three-pointers at +185 is the way to go. The Raptors allow the third-highest opponent three-point shooting percentage in the league (37.6%). Herro has been hot as of late, too, sinking 40.4% of his shots from deep in the month of March. Overall, he has tallied at least 4 three-pointers in 23 different games this season.

3. Bam Adebayo - Rebounds: Under 8.5 (-128)

The rebounding average of Miami center Bam Adebayo has been creeping down as the season progresses. Over the last 10 games, the 25-year-old is only tallying 6.8 boards per contest and has posted less than 9 rebounds eight times during that span despite playing in more than 32 minutes in every matchup. Keep in mind Toronto has controlled the boards well this season as it ranks third in opponent defensive rebounding percentage (72.1%) and 12th in opponent rebounds per game (50.4). The Raptors also allow the fourth-fewest rebounds per game to opposing centers, so look for Adebayo to struggle to make an impact in that facet of the showdown.
