The Battlehawks were down 15-3 with just 3:02 left in the game before McCarron connected with Hakeem Butler for an 18-yard score. St. Louis was then successful on a three-point conversion before it kept its next drive alive with a fourth-and-15 conversion and scored the winning touchdown.

That is the kind of momentum that can change a team moving forward. McCarron shrugged off five sacks and proved why he should be considered the best QB in the XFL. It was a completely different result for DiNucci. The Sea Dragons held an 18-8 lead in the third quarter and fell apart at the end.

Crowds are going to start growing as the season rolls on, but don't put too much emphasis on home-field advantage just yet.
