Allen Lazard's Cryptic Tweet is Scaring Packers Fans

One of the biggest question marks around the Green Bay Packers this offseason pertains to the future of wide receiver Allen Lazard. He's set to be a free agent after a career year as Green Bay's No. 1 option, and the possibility of him being a flight risk seems incredibly high.

Lazard certainly didn't help calm any nerves with his tweet on Friday.

Lazard posted "Thank you" with a prayer emoji from his Twitter account in the afternoon. Though there's not much here, it's sent Packers fans into a panic. Several pleaded for the wideout to stay in the replies, while others already offered premature goodbyes just based on his message.

Suffice it to say, Lazard's unclear future in Green Bay has made some cheeseheads especially worried he may walk. So far, his actions and comments haven't made things any easier. He seemed to hint at the end of the regular season that he was done as a Packer, so some are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

With over a month and a half left until free agency starts, there's still a lot of time before this situation is resolved. Lazard's mind could change several times between now and then. It remains to be seen if he ultimately decides to stay in the Green and Gold, though.
