Morono vs Means Prediction

This lines up as a battle between two of the most experienced fighters at the welterweight level. Alex Morono enters with a respectable 22-8-0 record and has emerged victorious in four of his last five UFC bouts. The one loss came via KO/TKO against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 282 in December.

Tim Means enters Saturday with a 32-14-1 record and has gone up against just about everyone he could over the last two decades. The 39-year-old has been up and down over the last few years, posting a record of 3-3 in his last six fights, 5-5 in his last 10 fights and 8-8-1 in his last 17 fights.

Means has proven over his career that he should never be counted out, but Morono is a favorite for a reason. The 32-year-old averages more significant strikes landed per minute (5.22) than his opponent and has mastered the art of fighting against a physically bigger foe. Morono will find a way to win.

Winner: Alex Morono (-235)

Morono vs Means Best Bet

These two fighters have each gone through the wringer in their own sense and it has helped them create a strategy that best works for them. That strategy is outlasting the opponent and taking charge in the final rounds. In fact, five of Morono's last seven fights as well as four of Means' last five fights have gone the distance. Backing those trends to continue is the best way to go on Saturday.

Bet: Fight to Go the Distance (-120)
