Who is Announcing the PGA Championship 2023? Full Breakdown of This Year’s Broadcast Crew by Channel

Updated:

Golf's next major is here as the 2023 PGA Championship prepares to tee off from Oak Hill Country Club later this week. Fans around the world are ready to tune in, but the split nature of the broadcast means there's more to keep track of.

With that in mind, here's everything you need to know about TV coverage for the 2023 PGA Championship.

Who is Announcing the PGA Championship 2023?

Coverage of the PGA Championship will once again be across two networks in 2023. ESPN/ESPN+ is broadcasting the first and second rounds from Oak Hill National on May 18-19, while CBS will show the final two days. The former will also provide early coverage on Day 3-4.

Scott Van Pelt is leading ESPN's broadcast for the 2023 PGA Championship. Van Pelt's served as the main host of the event since the network regained the Day 1-2 broadcast rights starting in 2020. He was the anchor of ESPN's 2023 Masters coverage as well.

CBS' crew will be helmed by the legendary Jim Nantz. He's been CBS' play-by-play man at the PGA Championship since 1991, and heads the network's other major golf events, like the Masters.
