Week 4 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Jets vs Steelers

Updated:
Week 4 of the NFL season includes an intriguing AFC showdown when the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show the Steelers as 3-point home favorites in what should be a scrappy matchup between two teams with a lot to prove.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 4 showdown between the Jets and Steelers.
Garrett Wilson Fantasy
Start Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets: Sometimes rookie wide receivers need adjustment periods to play at the NFL level. Fortunately for fantasy managers, that hasn't been the case for Garrett Wilson. The 10th overall pick at the 2022 draft has averaged 17.1 PPR points thus far, ranking him as the WR15 ahead of the upcoming Steelers matchup. Pittsburgh has been dreadful at defending the position this season, giving up the ninth-most fantasy points to wideouts. The fact that Wilson's nine red-zone targets are also the second-most in the league is another reason to like him, regardless of who's throwing him the ball on Sunday.
Najee Harris Fantasy
Start Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers: A first-round pick by many managers, Najee Harris hasn't lived up to the hype so far. While his status as the RB19 isn't the worst, people were expecting more than 12.5 points per game. The good news is that the Jets provide the sophomore rusher with a chance to get back on track. New York is giving up the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs and has given up four total touchdowns to the position — tied for second-most in the NFL. Considering how Harris was on the field for 80% of offensive snaps in Week 3, there's a good chance that he could see top-12 numbers this weekend.
Zach Wilson Fantasy
Sit Zach Wilson (if active), QB, New York Jets: The Jets have announced that sophomore quarterback Zach Wilson is healthy enough to make his season debut in Week 4. Some managers might think of streaming him, however, that isn't a great idea. For starters, we haven't seen Wilson play a meaningful game since the end of his rookie campaign — a season that saw him sacked 44 times while throwing only nine TDs to 11 interceptions. Though the Steelers are average against QBs this season, they're in the top 10 for both interceptions (five, T-No.3) and sacks (nine, T-No. 8). Until Wilson proves that he's learned from last year's mistakes, there are safer streaming options out there.
George Pickens Fantasy
Sit George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens was expected to be solid as the Steelers' No. 3 WR this season, but he's struggled to get going. Despite playing 77% of snaps, the former Georgia product has been held to fewer than 40 receiving yards in each of the first three games, entering the week as the WR93. Yes, the Jets are a bottom-11 team against wideouts in fantasy, however, it's hard to trust Pickens due to his only catching 5-of-12 targets (41.7%). While his seven targets in Week 3 were encouraging, he must do more with his opportunities before even being considered for a fantasy start.
