Week 17 Monday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Bills vs Bengals (TE Extends TD Streak)

Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with an AFC showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. The Bills are battling with the Kansas City Chiefs for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, while the Bengals could clinch the AFC North with a victory.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 17 Monday Night Football matchup.

Dawson Knox Fantasy

Start Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills: Knox has come on strong after a slow start to the year, reminding everyone why the Bills rewarded him with a new contract before the season. The 26-year-old has caught a touchdown in three straight games heading into Week 17, giving him five overall on the season. He's also enjoyed steady volume during that stretch with at least 38 receiving yards in every game, hauling in 13 of 20 targets for 177 yards. With Knox re-emerging as one of Josh Allen's top red-zone weapons, don't be surprised if he finds the end zone again in a game with a projected total of 50.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

Tee Higgins Fantasy

Start Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Similar to Knox, Higgins is also closing out the season on fire. He's caught a touchdown in four straight games and has topped 100 receiving yards in three of his last five contests, giving him a lofty floor as well as enormous upside. With 4 TDs and an average of 76.3 receiving yards over his last five games, Higgins is ending the year on a high note after a mildly disappointing first half. With Buffalo's defense keying in on Ja'Marr Chase, Higgins could be poised for another explosive performance.

Buffalo Bills D/ST Fantasy

Sit Buffalo Bills D/ST: The Bills' defense has been one of the best units in football this year, giving up the second-fewest points and fifth-fewest yards. That said, they have an incredibly tough road matchup here against one of the best offenses in the NFL. Cincinnati ranks sixth in points and seventh in yards. The Bengals also come into this game on a seven-game win streak where they've scored at least 20 points in every game. Accordingly, it's best to fade Buffalo here.

Tyler Boyd Fantasy

Sit Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Boyd has been a middling fantasy option for much of the year, especially down the stretch. His last three games have been especially quiet, producing just 8 catches on 10 targets for 56 yards. He did snag a touchdown during that stretch, but he hasn't been a reliable scoring option in the second half with just 1 TD in his last seven games. With Chase, Higgins and Joe Mixon all more heavily involved in Cincinnati's offense, stay away from Boyd this week.
