Week 15 Sunday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Giants vs Commanders (Scary Terry Shreds NY)

Week 15 of the 2022 NFL season continues with an NFC East showdown on Sunday Night Football between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders. The betting markets are slightly favoring one side here with the Commanders being the -4.5 spread favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 15 Sunday Night Football matchup.

Darius Slayton Fantasy

Start Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants: Darius Slayton has been a solid fantasy contributor after a late start to the season. He's averaging 12.7 points in PPR since Week 7, which has him as the WR24 over that span. I don't see Slayton slowing down any time soon, especially after he recorded 6 catches for 90 yards against the Commanders two weeks ago in what was the WR22 performance of the week. With the majority of New York's top wideouts still being sidelined with injury, Slayton projects for another WR3-level performance with WR2 upside.

Terry McLaurin Fantasy

Start Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin has been streaky throughout the season, but he's begun putting it together lately. He's the WR15 in PPR since Week 8 and has gone over 100 receiving yards in three of his last six games. One of those outings came against the Giants in Week 13, hauling in 8 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown — good for 24.5 points and a top-10 finish among wideouts. What's even more encouraging is that 'Scary Terry' averages 7.3 receptions, 96.7 yards and 0.5 TDs against the Giants, equating to about 20 points in PPR. Assuming all goes according to plan, McLaurin could be headed for another top-10/15 performance.

Daniel Bellinger Fantasy

Sit Daniel Bellinger, TE, New York Giants: Although he has caught every pass thrown his way since Week 4, Daniel Bellinger hasn't been reliable for fantasy managers. The rookie tight end is averaging just 7.7 fantasy points per game, which is tied for 20th-best among the position. He's also found the end zone in only one of his last seven outings and now gets to take on the Giants, who have allowed only four TDs to tight ends this season. With Bellinger never recording more than 5 receptions and 40 yards in a game, he's clearly TD-dependent to have any value and I just don't see him scoring this week.

Logan Thomas Fantasy

Sit Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Commanders: Logan Thomas hasn't come close to living up to his potential this season, especially in the last several weeks. He's only the TE37 in PPR since returning from injury in Week 8, catching just 11-of-20 passes thrown his way over the last five games for 104 receiving yards and no touchdowns. The Giants might allow the 10th-most points to TEs, but they still held Thomas to just 5.0 points two weeks ago. With most leagues either in the fantasy playoffs or getting close, there's no reason to risk your campaign with an unreliable option like Thomas.
