When he was in his prime, there was no one more agitating to cover than Steve Smith Sr. He was going to beat you, and you were going to hear about it after the fact. His combination of incredible productivity and trash-talking ability had to be infuriating for NFL defensive backs.

Those frustrations boiled during this insane moment from a 2011 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers.

Despite being blanketed in coverage, Smith somehow hauls in a pass, shakes off the defender, and takes it to the house for a 54-yard score. But just as he's crossing the goal line, Smith gets blindsided on a vicious hit from Saints DB Roman Harper.

Smith gets up unfazed and continues his celebration before finding himself in a one-on-one brawl with star safety Malcolm Jenkins. Jenkins, incidentally, is now back on the Saints roster the first time since 2013.

As the fight continues, the Jenkins and Smith are mobbed by the entire Panthers' offense, including then-rookie quarterback Cam Newton. While the Panthers probably won the battle here, the Saints ultimately won the war that day, as they went on to beat Carolina, 30-27.
