VIDEO: Remembering When Jared Goff Hit Robert Woods for the Longest Touchdown Pass in Rams History

Jared Goff is coming off a down year in just about every metric, throwing 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2019. That shouldn't overshadow just how high he has shown his ceiling can be with the Los Angeles Rams in Sean McVay's offense though.

That ceiling was on full display in Week 10 of the 2017 NFL season, when Goff hit Robert Woods for the longest touchdown pass in franchise history, at 94 yards.

This wasn't just a case of a receiver making a great play after the catch and boosting his QB's stats, either. Goff threw an absolute bomb from a couple yards deep in his own end zone, hitting Woods in stride at the 50-yard line. Not having to break stride to reel in the pass, Woods had no trouble continuing to outrun the defender to cap off the play.

Goff will have his top two wide receivers, Woods and Cooper Kupp, back in the fold in 2020, and Rams fans will be hoping this unit can bounce back to the form that saw them rank second in the NFL in scoring in 2018.
