Tyler Huntley Injury Creates Nightmare Situation for Ravens

Updated:

The NFL is ready to roll into Week 15 of the season and that means just one month of regular-season football left on the calendar. Unfortunately, this is commonly a time of the season fraught with major injury questions. That's the exact situation the Baltimore Ravens find themselves in.

After losing Lamar Jackson ti a PCL sprain, Tyler Huntley was thrust into the starting lineup. Huntley managed just 38 offensive snaps (62%) before going down with a concussion. Talk about a nightmare situation for Baltimore.

Ravens insider Jamison Hensley said Monday that Huntley is officially in concussino protcol. And given how serious the NFL has taken concussions since the Tua Tagovailoa situation, Huntley's Week 15 status is very much up in the air.

Baltimore is also on somewhat of a short week. Their Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns was flexed into the Saturday slot and will cost Huntley one more day to get back on the field. As it stands, Anthony Brown is the only remaining quarterback on Baltimore's roster. Brown is an undrafted rookie with zero NFL experience.

It appears the Ravens are ready to use Brown should Huntley not be ready, but they'll need a backup QB for Week 15 in case of further issues with the injury bug.
