Top Fantasy Football Streaming Quarterbacks for Week 8

Updated:
Week 7 of the NFL season featured more low scoring from a few highly drafted quarterbacks. However, some waiver-wire QBs came through in a big way.
If you need to make a change at QB in Week 8, here are our top three streaming quarterback picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.
Streaming QB Fantasy Football Week 8
1. Daniel Jones, New York Giants (41%)
Daniel Jones continues to produce thanks to his dual-threat abilities. Jones made up for a lackluster passing day (202 yards, 1 TD) in Week 7 by racking up 107 yards on the ground and another score. He's now averaging a healthy 49.0 rushing yards per game, which gives him a bankable floor with TD upside as well. Jones gets an attractive matchup in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks, who are allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to QBs this season. If you're facing a bye-, injury- or even performance-related hole, Jones should be a priority target.
2. Taylor Heinicke, Washington Commanders (6%)
Taylor Heinicke shocked the world by going into Green Bay and stealing a win this past Sunday. He wasn't too shabby in the victory, recording 201 passing yards and 2 TDs against a talented Packers defense. His showing would've been even better without the one interception he threw, but this outing indicates the Washington offense won't fall off of a cliff with him at the helm. He did average 13.9 fantasy PPG as the Commanders' starter last year, which puts him in the streaming conversation at the very least. Now Washington's defense draws Sam Ehlinger in his first career start. The Commanders should be able to overwhelm him and force plenty of three-and-outs, which could give Heinicke plenty of opportunities to produce against a middling Indianapolis Colts defense.
3. Andy Dalton/Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints (3%/21%)
It's unclear who will start for the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, but both Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston are viable for fantasy purposes. Dalton finally broke through after some early struggles, posting a whopping 26.54 fantasy points in Week 7. Though his production occurred mostly in garbage time, all managers should care about is the fact he can have boom games like this. Winston, meanwhile, could squeeze his way back into the starting picture after serving in backup duties this past Thursday. He showed a glimpse of what he can do with this offense after popping off for 21.66 fantasy points in Week 1. Either player is a great target in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders, who are giving up the most fantasy PPG to QBs this season.
