Top Fantasy Football Streaming Quarterbacks for Week 3
Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season was pretty underwhelming for the top quarterbacks in fantasy football. Meanwhile, a few waiver-wire QBs put together some impressive performances.
If you're thinking about making a switch at QB for Week 3, here are our top three streaming quarterback picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

3. Joe Flacco, New York Jets (2% Rostered)
Joe Flacco is lighting it up in New York with Zach Wilson sidelined. He's thrown for 300 yards in both games to begin the year, and he's coming off of a Week 2 outing that saw him post a whopping 26.88 fantasy points and 4 TD passes against a tough Cleveland Browns defense. His Week 3 matchup isn't ideal with the Cincinnati Bengals on the docket, but Flacco's upside in an improved Jets offense is undeniable. New York has attempted the most passes in the league through the first two weeks thanks to the Jets trailing big in both contests. That trend should continue with the Jets slated as 4.5-point underdogs against the Bengals, so Flacco is another good spot to surprise in fantasy.
2. Marcus Mariota, Atlanta Falcons (11%)
Marcus Mariota has a great bounce-back opportunity in Week 3. The Los Angeles Rams' hounding defense forced him to cause three turnovers this past Sunday, dragging him down to a 13.44-point outing. Now, though, he draws the lowly Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has unsurprisingly struggled to defend the pass with injuries in its secondary. The Seahawks have given up the ninth-most passing yards in the league over the first two games, and QBs are averaging a healthy 18.48 fantasy points against them so far. The potential for a strong passing performance, coupled with his standalone rushing value, makes him a possible starting option in Week 3.
1. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions (23%)
Jared Goff and the new-look Detroit Lions offense may be legit. Goff's been nothing but productive airing it out, racking up 6 touchdowns (with just 1 interception) over the first two games. The current QB9 in fantasy scoring has a great chance to continue his hot start in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota just got thrashed on Monday Night Football, giving up 333 passing yards and allowing four pass-catchers to post at least 69 yards. That's great news for Goff and his cast of weapons like Amon-Ra St. Brown, TJ Hockenson, D'Andre Swift, DJ Chark and Josh Reynolds. This Vikings defense is giving up the fourth-most passing yards per game and will be on short rest, making Goff a great streaming choice.
