Top Fantasy Football Streaming Quarterbacks for Week 10

Week 9 of the NFL season featured more low-scoring outputs from a few highly drafted quarterbacks. However, a few waiver-wire QBs stepped up with solid days.

With six teams on bye this week, fantasy managers may be looking for a temporary fill-in. Here's a look at our top three streaming quarterback picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

Streaming QB Fantasy Football Week 10

1. Jacoby Brissett (7% Rostered)

Jacoby Brissett has a case as the best streamer available with waiver-wire options shrinking by the week. He's been solid more often than not in 2022, posting at least 14 fantasy points in five of eight games so far. The veteran is averaging a solid 232.8 yards per game, and he provides some rushing upside with 17.8 YPG and two scores in that area this season. Now he draws a Miami Dolphins defense giving up the most fantasy PPG to his position in 2022. Given how Justin Fields ran all over them last week, Brissett could come through with his legs on Sunday. The likely return of favorite target David Njoku further boosts Brissett's potential against a vulnerable secondary.

2. Marcus Mariota (32% Rostered)

Marcus Mariota once again is a streaming candidate in Week 10. Though he's coming off of a poor showing last Sunday, Mariota draws a Carolina defense he tore up when they met previously this year. The dual-threat QB posted his second-highest fantasy point total (22.42) of the season against the Panthers in Week 8 as he threw for 3 touchdowns and added 43 rushing yards. There's a chance Carolina's exploitable secondary is even sloppier playing on a short week, so Mariota could take advantage of this matchup for another big outing.

3. Jimmy Garoppolo (40% Rostered)

Jimmy Garoppolo presents managers with a safe streaming choice, which could be more appealing than a boom-or-bust option. He's registered at least 16 fantasy points in each of his last four games, throwing for two touchdowns in every contest. With a high of just 18.02 during this stretch, Garoppolo doesn't have the tallest of ceilings on a run-heavy team, but he's in a great position to produce given the weapons around him. San Francisco should have no trouble moving the ball against a Chargers unit that ranks just outside the top 10 in YPG allowed, so Garoppolo could easily connect on a couple of TD throws yet again.
