Top 12 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings for Week 10

The Buffalo Bills have been the best defense in fantasy this season. While the offense didn't deliver in Week 9, the defense limited the Jacksonville Jaguars to just 9 points. Unsurprisingly, the Bills are our top play of the week once again heading into Week 10.

After an up-and-down start, the New England Patriots are now the third-best defense in fantasy, trailing the Cardinals by just 4.0 points. But a matchup with the Cleveland Browns could be problematic. The Browns rarely turn the ball over, doing so at the ninth-lowest rate in the league. And in their first game without Odell Beckham Jr., the offense exploded for 41 points against a stout Cincinnati Bengals' defense. The Pats also have a brutal upcoming schedule, facing the Falcons, Titans and Bills. That schedule means New England probably isn't worth hanging onto moving forward, so feel free to cut the Pats if you think there's a better streaming option on the waiver wire.

The Arizona Cardinals have been the second-best fantasy defense, and they're starting to narrow the gap on Buffalo. Arizona is only 4.0 points behind the top-ranked Bills. They'll now face one of the most turnover-prone QBs in the league in Sam Darnold. Arizona generates turnovers at the third-highest rate in the league, while Carolina turns the ball over at the 10th-highest rate in the NFL. That's a recipe for a big day for Chandler Jones and Co.

1. Buffalo Bills (at NYJ)

As mentioned above, the Bills are our top-ranked defense of the week. Buffalo has been the best fantasy defense all year long, and now they draw a matchup with the lowly New York Jets. The Jets' QB situation looks uncertain right now, and this unit should have no trouble pinning its ears back and racking up sacks and turnovers. Start Buffalo with confidence.
