Seahawks' Playoff Chances Hang in the Balance Entering Week 16

The Seattle Seahawks entered the season projected to be one of the NFL's worst teams, but with better-than-expected play from both their defense and quarterback Geno Smith, Seattle has surprised everyone and is second in the NFC West with a chance to make the playoffs.

The Seahawks have fallen to 7-7 after losing four of their last five games, however, which has caused their once-promising playoff odds to take a hit.

FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds have Seattle at +220 to make the playoffs and -280 to miss out on the postseason.

It will be tough for the Seahawks to make the playoffs unless they win out, which won't be easy. Seattle has a brutal road matchup in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead, which is one of the hardest places to play in the NFL.

The Seahawks will also be without wideout Tyler Lockett, safety Ryan Neal and defensive tackle Al Woods, making this game even more difficult than it already is. No wonder Seattle is a 10-point underdog in Kansas City, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
