Updated:

Starting at 1:05 p.m. ET, we have 11 races Saturday at Saratoga. Using
numberFire’s projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing.

As always, check the program at "The Spa" for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

According to numberFire Racing's projections, these are the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

1. Gulfport, Race 4

FanDuel Racing Odds: 4/5

Race 4 is the $200,000 Saratoga Special (G2) for 2-year-olds at 6 1/2 furlongs. Leading trainer Steve Asmussen shoots for his record-tying sixth Saratoga Special trophy when his speedy two-time winning juvenile colt Gulfport (4/5) takes on the flashy Churchill maiden winner Damon's Mound (7/5).

Just five runners entered and the numberFire projection calls for Gulfport to win ahead of Damon's Mound.

2. Martini'nmoonshine and Portfolio Company, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 12/1 and 2/1

Race 8 is an Allowance race with a full field of 12 three-year-olds going 1-mile on the inner turf. The numberFire top choice Portfolio Company (2/1) will be a popular pick on FanDuel Racing. That despite not winning a race since his Maiden last year, but he's finished runner-up in a pair of graded stakes.

Daunt (6/1) and Constitutionlawyer (6/1) offer some value, according to numberFire's data and TVG. But Martini'nmoonshine (12/1) could surprise in her 3-year-old debut and Al's Rocket (8/1) just broke his maiden and has leading jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding.

3. Regal Glory and Casa Creed, Race 10

FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/5 and 5/2

Race 10 is the $500,000 Fourstardave Handicap (G1) at 1-mile on the inner turf. Just five entered and top trainer Chad Brown has the two favorites, the numberFire top picks Regal Glory (6/5) and Masen (2/1), who has won his last two races with both at today's 1-mile distance.

Regal Glory has won 12-of-19 starts including 3-for-3 this year with his recent pair Grade 1 wins at this same distance. The magnificent mare is also 3-for-3 in her career at Saratoga, but now faces males for the first time.

Casa Creed (5/2) is a major threat from the rail with Luis Saez riding for trainer Bill Mott, who has won this race a record four times. Casa Creed won the Grade I Jaipur in June for the second time, and finished 3rd in this race last year.
