Russell Wilson Posts Hype Video After Putting on Gameday Uniform for First Time
After years of mediocre quarterback play, Denver Broncos fans are thrilled to have Russell Wilson under center in 2022. Although the fanbase has already seen him at practice, Thursday gave them their first glimpse at the former NFL MVP in his gameday threads.
Wilson took to his Twitter page to share a hype video of him donning his official Broncos jersey for the first time. People might be used to him in a Seattle Seahawks uniform, but there's no denying that the veteran gunslinger looks natural in Denver's blue and orange.

Another added bonus was that Wilson included clips of him interacting with wide receivers Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. Wilson already seems to have good relationships with his two wideouts judging by the interactions and, hopefully, that leads to on-field results.
Wilson may no longer be in his prime, but he's easily the best QB that the Broncos have had since Peyton Manning's penultimate season in 2014. The former Seahawks gunslinger had 3,113 passing yards and 25 touchdowns to six interceptions last season and should play even better on a contender.
In addition to Sutton and Jeudy, Wilson will have wideout Tim Patrick and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam at his disposal, along with running backs Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon. Throw in Denver's solid offensive line and it's definitely an improvement over his final year with the Seahawks.
How well Wilson looks in a Broncos uniform won't matter if the team can't get it done in the playoffs. Fortunately, things are looking promising for the franchise as FanDuel Sportsbook gives Denver +1700 odds (No. 8) to win Super Bowl LVII next February.
