Robert Woods' Week 1 Usage Gives Hope for Fantasy Outlook
Fantasy owners who drafted Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods wondered how he'd perform in his first game with his new team. While he finished the day with just 2.3 points in PPR formats, the veteran's usage was encouraging.

According to Titans reporter John Glennon, Woods was on the field for 46-of-65 offensive snaps, translating to 70.7%. What's even more encouraging is that he saw more offensive snaps than every other skill position player on the team except quarterback Ryan Tannehill (100%).
Robert Woods Fantasy Outlook
Understandably, fans were worried about Woods' fantasy outlook after only putting up 2.3 PPR points. After all, Fantasy Pros listed him as having an average draft position (ADP) of 102, making him someone that was likely taken around the ninth round in 12-team leagues.
It's important to remember that Woods is also coming back from a season-ending ACL tear in 2021. He was averaging an impressive 17.7 PPR points in the final six games before his injury, so it remains to be seen if he can get back to that level.
Woods has a great opportunity to bounce back if his usage stays where it is. The key will be for Tannehill to look his way more often. Wideouts Kyle Phillips and Treylon Burks had nine and five targets, respectively, while the veteran pass-catcher only say two balls thrown his way for a 6.1% target share.
At the end of the day, it was only Week 1 and there is no need to panic. Woods is a great player and the results will come sooner than later.
