Printable Bracket for the 2023 Men's Field Hockey World Cup

On January 13, 2023, the 15th Men's FIH Hockey World Cup will kick off in India, running through January 29.

A total of 16 countries have qualified for this event, but the United States is not one of them. These 16 teams will be divided into four Pools (A, B, C, D) for Pool play. The top three teams from each of these pools will advance past this round.

The top team in each pool, determined by a point system similar to the soccer world cup, will automatically advance to the quarterfinals. The second and third teams from each group will then play each other in the cross-overs round, to determine which one of them meets the first-place team in the quarterfinals.

From this point on, the tournament functions like any standard bracket until a champion is crowned. The teams that have been eliminated at this point will play in their own separate bracket to determine places 9-16.
