Patrick Mahomes Gives Update on Foot Injury After Bengals Game

Updated:

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a close loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, losing 27-24 on the road. This loss knocked them out of the top seed in the AFC playoff hunt, where the Buffalo Bills now sit.

Patrick Mahomes Injury Update

The Chiefs did have a bit of a scare though, outside of the loss. QB Patrick Mahomes siffered a foot injury near the end of the game, but luckily for Kansas City, head coach Andy Reid seems unbothered by it. Reid said that Mahomes "looks like he's going to be ok."

Mahomes himself further cemented that notion when he said post-game "Yea I'll be fine." The Chiefs may be in a greats pot already in terms of a playoff berth, but they want that No. 1 seed, a first-round bye and home-field advantage.

We will see if there are any changes to Mahomes' level of participation in practice this week, but for now, it seems all will be well in Kansas City.

The Chiefs are preparing for a Week 14 matchup with the Denver Broncos, where Kansas City is a 8.5-point road favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
