Mike Vrabel Beats the Entire Titans Offense in a Funny Stat

Mike Vrabel Beats the Entire Titans Offense in a Funny Stat

Updated:

Mike Vrabel was one of the most versatile linebackers in the league during his heyday. Playing eight years with the New England Patriots, he racked up 606 tackles 48 sacks and 11 interceptions with the team.

But he was also a monster in the red zone for Tom Brady and the offense. Each of Vrabel's 12 career receptions went for touchdowns, including two that came in the postseason. Now head coach of the Tennessee Titans, Vrabel has more career receiving TDs than every pass-catcher on the team.

To be fair, Vrabel played significantly longer than anyone else on the list. But this is still a ridiculous stat.

It definitely speaks to the inexperience of the Tennessee Titans' receiving corps, but don't dwell on the negatives here. This stat shows Vrabel was a one-of-a-kind linebacker.

If the Titans have any red zone struggles this year, the stats show Vrabel should just call his own number.
