Mike McDaniel Gives Hilarious Quote Following Thrilling Dolphins Comeback Win
In easily the wildest game of the young NFL season thus far, head coach Mike McDaniel and his Miami Dolphins stormed back from a 35-21 fourth-quarter deficit to stun the Baltimore Ravens, 42-38, on the road.
Riding the high of this impressive win, which improved the Dolphins to 2-0 on the season, McDaniel cracked a number of jokes in his postgame presser.
Two stood out from the rest.
Dolphins vs Ravens Week 2
Before mentioning anything else, McDaniel walked into the postgame media session and led off with a simple question--"Anyone else tired?" That easily sums up the intense back-and-forth nature of this AFC clash.
He continued on with another gem. McDaniel told reporters that on Saturday night, he wanted some "adversity" in this game to see how his team responded. Going down 28-7 is certainly an example of adversity. "Apparently they just took me way too literal," joked McDaniel following the win.

What a win it was for Miami. The Dolphins struggled to slow down the offensive genius that is Lamar Jackson, who had one of the best games of his career, throwing for 318 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air while adding another 119 yards and a TD on the ground.
While the Dolphins were down by three touchdowns at the half, they did not give up or panic. Instead, they turned the tables by outscoring the Ravens 35-10 in the second half, finally pulling ahead for good with 14 seconds left.
McDaniel's team deserves to celebrate their thrilling victory as they look forward to a Week 3 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
