Mecole Hardman's Ominous Tweet Has Chiefs Fans Hoping For a Return in the AFC Championship Game

Updated:

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again back in the AFC Championship game, and once again the Cincinnati Bengals are on the opposite side of the field.

Mecole Hardman Injury Update

The Chiefs are back here, with home-field advantage, despite losing their most explosive offensive weapon last offseason, wideout Tyreek Hill. Many questioned if Kansas City would be able to get to this point without Hill, but others pointed to guys like Mecole Hardman as someone who could take the next step in his career and replace some of Hills' production this past season.

While no one has really questioned Hardman's talent, he only suited up for 8 games this season and started 5. He hasn't played since Week 9, dealing with an injury to his pelvis.

However, Hardman is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship game, and one of his recent tweets surely suggests he could play.

While there's no real indication of him playing or not, the implication, given the timing of it, and the motion he is making in the tweet would lead us to believe he plans on suiting up.

HArdman is a speedster that brings another effective element to the Chiefs' dynamic offense, plus he's another wideout that owns the trust of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, something Kansas City could need with Mahomes playing hurt.

The Chiefs are currently 1.5-point home favorites against the Bengals in the AFC Championship game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
