Mavericks vs Bulls Game Info

2022 NBA Summer League Game
Dallas Mavericks (0-0) vs. Chicago Bulls (0-0)
Date: Friday, July 8, 2022
Time: 4 p.m. ET
Venue: Thomas & Mack Center — Las Vegas, NV

The Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls both kick off their Las Vegas Summer League action on Friday. Dallas' roster for this tournament is headlined by 2022 NBA Draft pick Jaden Hardy, who was selected by the team in the second round (No. 37 overall). The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 12 games for the G League Ignite last season.

The Bulls, meanwhile, will get to see first-round pick Dalen Terry in action. The 6-foot-7 wing projects to be a solid defender and playmaker after a promising sophomore year at Arizona.

Mavericks vs Bulls Prediction & Pick

Both of these squads will run out a batch of rookies or young players without much NBA experience. That makes veteran Sindarius Thornwell stick out on Chicago's roster.

Thornwell was originally drafted in 2017 and has played in 160 career games. His last taste of NBA action came in May 2021, though, so he'll be eager to show out in front of scouts from around the league and prove he deserves another look. Despite owning a career points per game average of just 2.5, he also put up 21.4 PPG as a senior in college, so he can light up the scoreboard up against lesser competition.

I'll take a motivated Thornwell to help the Bulls (+110) pull off an upset victory.
