Latest Mike White Injury Update Creates Murky Situation For Jets Quarterback Spot Moving Forward

Updated:

The New York Jets quarterback situation has been a carousel mess virtually all year long. Joe Flacco, Zach Wilson and Mike White have each started multiple games.

After being benched for Mike White for poor perfromaance and attidue about a month ago, Zach Wilson has started the last two games. Wilson was inserted back in as the starting quarterback after White sustained injuries to his ribs.

Wilson's first start was great, his second start, though, was about as bad as it gets. White is still dealing with his injuries and if he's not cleared to play in Week 17, Jets fans worst nightmare might come true, another Wilson start.

The Jets need to win out in order to keep any hopes of making the playoffs alive, and having Wilson under center has proven to limit that possibility, especially of late. Although, the Jets don't have too much of a choice, other than to hope Wilson Channels his Week 15 performance.

The Jets have a tough road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17, where New York is a 1.5-point road underdog, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
